Rules of Play
Official Rules of Play
)Courses will be played as a scramble. Men 60+ and women can play from the gold tees. Everyone else will play from the white tees.
)No mulligans.
)Each shot after the tee box needs to be placed within one clubs length of the original shot chosen and no closer to the hole. You are allowed preferred lies. You cannot change terrain from the original lie unless it’s moving it off the cart path or off an obstruction that could break your club.
)Once you have reached the green, the ball you are playing needs to be marked to the left or the right of the ball within 1 scorecard of the ball before putting it. Each ball needs to be placed as close as possible to the original spot and no closer to the hole.
)You cannot make any other putts on the green besides from the marked ball. No rolling a ball across the green with intention to get a read on the green.
)Once a ball is holed out that is considered the score for the hole. Even if the rest of the team hasn’t hit from the previous spot. *Do not tap in your missed putt before the rest of your team putts from the original spot*
)There is a max score of bogey. Once your team has missed your par shots, you can pick up your ball, and record a score of bogey for that hole. This is to ensure pace of play is met.
)USGA rules apply for hazards, out of bounds, drop areas, and relief. If you have a question talk it over with the other team or call the club house.
)No illegal clubs, balls, or accessories are allowed.
)Any ties will be determined by a scorecard playoff. Playoff will start on the hardest rated hole, then to next hardest and so on .
)Each team will keep their own score and report their score to the league with a photo of their scorecard.
)Anyone caught cheating will result in disqualification from the league.
)You are allowed to miss 2 months of play. Each month missed after will incur a 1 stroke penalty to your starting score at the Home Course Championship.
)All payments are final and non-refundable.
)Teams are allowed alternates who can fill in when needed. Teams are required to only pay for 4 members $200 each, $800 total for the team.
)Current college golfers, current or former Tour Pros, and current or former certified PGA Pros are NOT allowed to play. Local “club pros” who do not hold PGA Professional certification and have never competed professionally are allowed to play.
